Exposure Sciences

Exposure Measurement: Ongoing research characterizes emissions from household solid fuel use for cooking and space heating, as well as assessing the efficacy of methods to reduce those exposures.

COEH faculty members conducting research in exposure assessment:

Rufus D. Edwards, PhD

Exposure Modeling: Current research develops exposure models using geographic information systems (GIS) techniques in conjunction with modern statistical methods such as smoothing within generalized additive models and Cox models. Researchers also develop freely available software to make these methods easier for others to use.
