Dr. Ulrike Luderer was recently awarded a 2-year research grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) to investigate the mechanisms underlying decreased oocyte quality in female mice deficient in the antioxidant glutathione with a focus on oocyte mitochondrial function.
